Requirements vary by municipality and by case. Before we start, I confirm the exact list with you.
Before we start
- Deed and property tax up to date
- Almost every construction procedure starts with the property deed and a current property tax (predial) receipt. If something is missing, I tell you how to sort it out first.
- Plans and sign-off
- Permits usually require plans signed by a licensed construction director (DRO). If you already have an architect, I coordinate with them; if not, I point you in the right direction.
- Clear costs from the start
- I keep my fees separate from the government fees, so you know exactly what you are paying for.
